I'm sought by this rain,
by these denatured shadows,
in delinquent skies.
The summer said it would be on it's way by now,
and the weather man, with his cucumber eyes,
tells us of storms and an inevitable, regressive winter.
Softly, the overcast creeps on me,
and like today, I welcome it,
but only silk can feel like she.
